The Japanese have made ramen or noodles their staple food for hundreds of years. However, although there are different types of ramen, currently ‘instant ramen’ is becoming popular in Japan as well as in other countries around the world. Westerners are less dependent on burger-sandwiches and are turning to relatively cheap and tasty meals like ramen.
Sixty-five years ago, the journey of instant ramen was started by Momofuku Ando, a resident of Osaka Island, Japan. This ramen does not require fire, oil, or spices. Instant ramen is made by just adding a little hot water. The people of the United States today refer to this ramen, which combines hot tomato sauce, seafood pieces, Japanese specialty teriyaki chicken, Korean BBQ, and cheese curry, as the new “American breakfast.”
Ramen is the most common dish prepared by indigenous people all over the country. Cooking this dish is so easy. Ramen requires meat, fish, egg, and various grains and wheat to prepare, and several herbs or roots are used to add flavor.
